Absolutely huge and must needed victory! Good to see them not get dejected after that 2nd quarter and come out fighting in the 2nd half! Who you guys got for POTG? The obvious answer is Kobe, but Powell deserves a LOT of credit for what he did out there tonight.

Kobe on Artest's trash talking: "He should know better than that."

But he did say that at the end it was just friendly because they go way back.

The Lakers are getting 3.5 points. Even though they are going to go 0-2 in Texas I am tempted to take the points. The Lakers should win easy, but they wont. And getting 3.5 points should ensure a cover if they lose, but it prolly won't. They will lose and they wont cover. 102-96 Rockets

I love to be wrong about my Lakers loss prediction. I still think they arent right enough to beat San Anton tomorrow but this is a step in the right direction.

It's a known fact that the Lakers have a losing record when Mr. Bryant goes Ball-Hog Bryant.

We won b/c of the TO ratio...

Everything else was fairly even, BLKS, REBS, ASTS, STLS, FG%, ect...

However 12 TO's for the Lakers considered to 23 for the Rockets, is why we won the game....

Huge win by the ‘streak killer’. Good game by Kobe, Powell and Gasol. Pau completely shut down Yao in the fourth quarter. The bench players disappointed me contributed only 12 points…Luke 24 Min 8 points ‘5 Reb not too savvy’, Sasha 19 min, 1-4 Fg needs to practice his shots more before & after games. I’ll give Phil Jackson credit for coaching this team and making changes in the line-up tonight. Believe it or not; I didn’t even think we had a chance winning tonight. It’ll be sweet if we win in San Antonio on a back- to back games.
