I'm a little worried because I heard Jon Miller say that Mike Scoscia told him if Escobar goes to the bullpen, if Kendrick comes back like the old Kendrick, and if Guerrero gets his power back then it's like they made three trades. I don't know, but that sounds like a pretty crappy game plan to me.

i can see why. too many 'if's.

so which LA team was Kobe rooting for?

There's only one team actually in LA.

I agree. The thing is there isnt anybody out there yet for them to pull the trigger on.

Mike Scioscia's growing into a fat annoying manager...like Lasorda. Where's Ron?

You're kind of right. The ridiculous optimism, and he's even balding like him. What a discouraging thought.

Difference is, Scioscia's got a short leash on EVERY BODY. Much like a doughnut eating cop.

Scoiscia  has been up against the wall with injuries and other factors.   They make the playoffs they will be a dangerous team.

Not unless Reagins and Scoscia make some personell moves. Waiting and hoping for players to regain something they lost doesn't seem like a strong strategy.

The team that is playing their best seems to come out on top.  The last few years the Angels seemingly had the best or one of the best teams in the league.  As long as they make the playoffs and have pitching and timely hitting i like their chances.

Angels won't go anywhere if Vlad continues to imitate Russell Martin.

J Martins getting hot right now. Vlad actually looks alot like Andruw Jones when he was in a Dodger uniform making 9 Mil a year.

I haven't like Vlad for a couple of years now.  It is not only his bat that is inconsistent but you can count on him making a fielding error or base running blunder in an important game.   You think he used roids with his power loss so evident?

Paul LA, you're giving Andruw Jones too much credit.  His salary was actually $18 million/year hitting barely above the Mendoza, with no power.

Vlad's $14 million is off the books after this season. So I expect something big from Reagins in the off season.

Colorado's no walk in the park. I'll be watching tonight since the Doyers are off.
