This could be one of those rare times they go over 100..... /pray.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Yes, it could be since Kobe is always pumped to play Phoenix and Steve Nash. Kobe feels that he got cheated and should have received the MVP award the year he averaged 35pts a game, and not Steve Nash.
With Kobe focused and determined, and will take mostly mid-range jumpshots and layups, the Lakers got this one easily.

I am changing my scoring prediction.

Lakers win . . if . . . We work the offense through Pau and Drew, Kobe stays aggressive and gets 6 assists, Blake continues to play consistently and shoot with confidence, Mike Brown and Metta don't kill each other. If we are struggling, look for Metta to get into a scuffle as that usually wakes us up.

Lakers 97
Suns 92

Let's get this win!!

Not a very pretty 1st quarter. Lakers shooting only around 40%. Theyre executing well, but are not making their shots. /shrug.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The Suns are not even playing all that good and the Lakers are not taking advantage of that. Slow 1st quarter by the Lakers. :lame:

Things are looking up for the Lakers now. Both the bench and starters playing much better. Second half should be pretty exciting. :go_lakers:

Totally agree. I like how Kobe played today. He was hot (with 36 and 9 rebounds)and he knew it, but when he saw an open teammate, he passed the ball and picked up a few assists. He trusted his teammates and they didn't disappoint. The bench really surprised me today. At some point in the first half (as Archer pointed out above) they were playing better than the starters. Both Bynum and Gasol with double doubles and Barnes contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Was a great second half to watch. Lakers extend their Home record to 13 and 2. :basketball:
