Hoosiers was released in 1986 and stars Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey, Dennis Hopper and Sheb Wooley. This movie is one of the most well-known sports movies of all-time.  It is a story of a basketball coach’s chance at redemption at an Indiana High School. A must see for all sports fans.
