Derek Fisher, Devin Ebanks to Start For Lakers

With the recent news that Kobe Bryant has a torn ligament in his wrist and that he will miss tonight’s pre-season game versus the Clippers, the Lakers have decided to change their back-court for tonight’s match-up. In this final pre-season game, coach Mike Brown has decided to start Derek Fisher and Devin Ebanks.

Although this injury does not look very serious, Kobe will have to play on opening night with an injured wrist. This type of injury takes several days to several weeks to recover from, so Bryant will have to play with the pain for a while.

Thus, the coaching staff wants to make this healing process as smooth as possible, and that is why they are sitting Kobe for this game.
