Bynum’s Agent: No Trade Talk About Andrew Bynum

By | July 4, 2012|

Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum’s agent, David Lee, said there have not been any calls from teams involving a trade for his client. There have been a myriad of trade rumors about Bynum, but Lee said he has not received any information about a deal, according to the O.C. Register.

“It’s the same chatter that was going on in January and February and March,” David Lee said. “I don’t think the chatter has changed. It’s only a different time of year.”

The latest rumor had Bynum and Metta World Peace going to Orlando in a package for Dwight Howard, but that deal may have taken a backseat since the Brooklyn Nets have reemerged as a possible destination.

Still, there is a chance Bynum will be moved this off-season and most likely it will be to the Magic. Bynum is the second best center in the league, and if the Lakers want Howard, they must give up their young big man.

    Nobody wants this clown!

I feel like that, too, especially if they get him over to the “stem cell knee treatment” doctor.  Stem cells can regrow his knee cartilege if they are harvested right.  Hell, I hope Kobe gets it too.  This Howard business is good for LA because it diverts attention away from what Kupchak is really doing..  I just want to know why Howard doesn’t want to come to LA.  I wish someone would ask.

He doesn’t want to play “second-string” to Kobe. He wants whatever team he plays for to be “his” team and won’t wait for Kobe to retire (because lets be real Kobe will probably keep going until he’s 40 or both knees give out completely)

Supposedly Kobe told him in a phone conversation about his role if he were to come to the Lakers, that he would be the 3rd option behind Kobe and Pau, and Dwight didn’t like that
