By | August 2, 2011|

There was a lot of speculation surrounding Kobe Bryant and his opinion on the Lakers’ hiring of Mike Brown. Bryant did not comment on the hiring for quite some time, and hinted at approval every now and then. In an interview with ESPN a few days ago, Bryant appeared content with Brown joining the team’s coaching staff.

“We’ve talked. We’ve met, we’ve talked several times, met several times. We have been in dialogue there has been an open dialogue.” Said Bryant. “He just seems like the type of coach that buttons everything up, so I think as players we’ll all be happy.”

Bryant later went on to talk about the team’s expectations for next season, and believes the Lakers are definitely capable of winning a title with their personnel.
