Brandon Jennings Backs off & Calls Kobe Bryant Best Player in NBA

Last week, we reported how Brandon Jennings called out Kobe Bryant with his Under Armour Shirt that read “Nobody Likes a Snake.”

But after the public backlash he and his shoe company are receiving from this obvious PR stunt, Jennings is starting to back off and play the “just kidding” angle.

That was just for fun…..I think Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA. We took it as a joking thing, but of course everybody else is going to take it differently. I don’t care what anybody else has to say about it. It was just a joke.” – Brandon Jennings [HoopsHype.com]

A day after Brandon Jennings failed to lead the Drew League over Kevin Durant led Goodman League team, I think it’s time for Jennings to understand his place on the NBA totem pole.

Not your time yet, Brandon.
