Andrew Bynum Voted in as 2012 Western Conference All-Star Center

By | January 31, 2012|

As heard on Fox Sports West during the post-game interview with Andrew Bynum, the final votes are in and the word is that Andrew Bynum has been voted in as the starting center for the western conference All-Star team.

In the first year after Yao Ming’s retirement, Bynum has put together a quality season where he is averaging a double-double after his 20 point, 11 rebound performance against the Charlotte Bobcats.

In a year where Andrew has been healthy for the first time in a long time, along with the departure of Lamar Odom, he has been able to log the minutes to show fans what he has to offer.

This season Bynum has his first 20-20 game against the Houston Rockets and the game winning dunk vs. the Jazz along, with a game deciding block.

Congratulations Andrew Bynum! You’ve come a long way!

Bynum has had one hell of a season at Gasols expense. Howard rules the East and Bynum rules the west. DeAndre Jordan has no business even being in the ballot.

Agreed. DeAndre Jordan isn’t averaging double figures in a single category. Bynum is in two.. points and rebounds – 16.5 and 12 w/ 1.9 blocks
