2011 NBA Draft Lottery Results

Tonight was the NBA Draft lottery that was held tonight before the beginning of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 14 teams that didn’t make the post-season were hoping to win the lottery and earn the number one overall draft spot in this summer’s NBA Draft.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had the highest chance of winning the lottery, but in the past the team with the best odds rarely wins the top pick. The Utah Jazz had two chances to win the lottery after receiving the first round pick of the New Jersey Nets in exchange for Deron Williams before the trade deadline. The Cleveland Cavaliers had two lottery picks as well after making a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Here are the results from the 2011 NBA Draft lottery:

14. Houston Rockets
13. Phoenix Suns
12. Utah Jazz
11. Golden State Warriors
10. Milwaukee Bucks
9. Charlotte Bobcats
8. Detroit Pistons
7. Sacramento Kings
6. Washington Wizards
5. Toronto Raptors
4. Cleveland Cavaliers
3. Utah Jazz
2. Minnesota Timberwolves
