9. Slava Medvedenko (2001-2006)

Slava was a decent bench player when it came to scoring. But defense was not in his vocabulary. He averaged about 5 points and 3.8 rebounds as a Laker, even 8.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in the ’03-04 season. But was derailed by injury the following year and immediately became expendable.

    Whoever wrote this definitely shows how long they’ve been a fan. Completely skipped a lot of stiffs from the 80′s and early 90′s. Pretty embarrassing attempt at an article.

    This list is kinda stupid if you ask me.  Elden Campbell wasn’t a bad player.  Dennis Rodman wasn’t even a true Laker so why would he even be counted?  I’d love to to go back in time and nab Samaki Walker and have him come off the current roster bench.  Kwame Brown…YES!  Forgot to add Luke Walton to the list…considered how much he was paid.  Smush Parker??  Ehhhhh??  yay and nay.  I wouldn’t label him as one of the worse.  You could throw Brian Cook in there b4 him.Travis Knight?? Ok, but the Lakers got what they paid for..nothin’ was truly expected of knight.  Same can be said for Mark Madson and Slava…they were cheap players that actually produced a tad bit.  Madson had heart…he had effort…why would he be considered one of the worse players?? Was he overpaid or something??  Now one player that got left out was that fool Chirs Mihm. Come in, play one game, get injured and don’t be heard or seen from for the rest of the season but still earning a pretty high salary. I’ll take Travis Knight anyday over Mihm.
